Mom's Ring

Very cool, emotional, sappy thing today... You know that my mom passed away suddenly about 4.5 years ago. Or, if you didn't know, you do now. Mom and I were very, very close and I miss her every single day. Mom and Dad were married for 42 years (I think, too tired to do the math). All those years mom wore a simple gold wedding band. I've had it in my jewelry box since she died. I occasionally take it out, look at it and think about her. I've always attempted to slip it on my finger but it never fit. I don't actually recall a time that I was ever able to get it on. Well....today I wore mom's wedding band all day! It fits perfectly! I know my mom is an angel watching over me and I know how incredibly proud she would be of me. I just wish she was here to experience it with me.
