Busy and Bunco

Another week has passed....seriously. Where do the hours in the day go? It was yet another busy one around here. I guess I'll be saying that for the next 15 or so years...until the kids are adults. ;) I had a good food week, a good exercise week...and the result was a 1.2 pound gain for my Friday weigh in. Sigh. Nothing to do but keep moving forward. I'll admit today was not the best food day. Ok..it was pretty bad.

I just returned home from my first ever Bunco game. It was a blast. 12 women hanging out, chatting, eating, drinking and rolling dice. Good time! It was hosted by one of my gym buddies. I knew 2 other people going into the night and came out knowing a bunch more. We plan on doing it once a month.

My biggest news this week is that I've booked a vacation for next month. This is a "ME" vacation. Hubby and kids are staying home and I'm getting a mommy break. One month from today I'll be somewhere in the Caribbean on a cruise ship with a good friend for 7 days/6 nights of heavenly relaxation. I plan on working out hard during the days, staying active and having a great (and controlled) time!!!

That leads to my newest dilemma....shopping! I have NO summer clothes. I can get by in the evenings with capris and tops, however I have no shorts and stores don't really have any in yet. I'm also stuck in between plus and regular size clothes right now. I think I'm going to internet order from places with really easy return policies and just see what happens.

I'm going to crawl in bed. Tomorrow morning...ZUMBA!
